Bottom discharge containers for bulk handling

The revolutionary new Versatile Container Handling container has all the ISO standards and can be top loaded and bottom discharged in minutes

It can be carried on road, rail or ship and used as storage. 

Applications including single liner inserts allow the transport of foodstuffs and the elimination of 1 ton individual bagging.

It is now possible to load containers onto rail – split the rail cars to individual  destinations (at the clients own siding) meet the rail cars, discharge the containers and replace the container onto the train at the client’s premises.

The Bottom Discharge Container with opening floor is built to standard ISo Specifications.

Bottom of Bottom Discharge Containers can be handled with a Steelbro Sidelifter.

Once the container is on the ground, simply unlock the locks and lift the container.

As the container is lifted, the complete load is discharged.

Ideal applications include:

Bulk handling of Sugar, Maize, Nuts, Salt, Chicory, Coal, Ore, Stone, Sand, or any bulk material.

Product currently being packed into small bags or units can now be put into a single liner bag inside the container, which is perforated to tear along the bottom edge when the container door is opened. The 20 ton load is discharged quickly and neatly without fuss in seconds.

The ability to offload these huge quantities within a short space of time, quickens truck turnaround times and eliminates the cost of unnecessary packaging and small bags. Because the containers can be railed directly to your client, the need for carrying overloaded containers by road is eliminated, saving you thousands of rands in transportation costs.

A Sidelifter will unload the containers from the train and replace the empty containers back onto the wagons before leaving the site.
